Bill Dowis is an artist living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He favors acrylic, watercolor, and block printing, but often explores other medium in a constant effort to expand his creative boundaries. Working from a modest home studio, Bill paints a variety of subjects including flowers, birds, abstract ideas of the universe, and sports mascots.

Art is a fundamental element of human survival. It helps us make sense of our existence and connects us to one another across time and space. Through my work, I aim to evoke reflection and a sense of shared experience. Inviting the viewer to pause and reconnect with the vibrant forces that shape our lives. Through art even the smallest details can have major significance beyond our understanding.
I believe art has the power to heal, challenge, and inspire; making it essential in navigating the complexities of our modern world.
